Mingmei's new book, Peach Blossom Pavilion has just come out June 1 by Kensington Books!
Peach Blossom Pavilion is a novel about the last Chinese Courtesan, or Geisha, who was a poet, painter, calligrapher and qin musician.
Peach Blossom Pavilion is the first English language novel about the qin (featured prominently in the novel).

June 7, 14, 21, 28 (Saturdays) 6: 30 Sunset Cinema Series in Columbus Park, Pavilion Grounds, 67 Mulberry Street, Manhattan, Chinatown. (The park is south of Canal Street between Mulberry and Baxter Streets) Mingmei will be reading and signing her Peach Blossom Pavilion (with NYTimes bestselling author Jennifer 8 Lee).
